Black polishing and parts making!

 

Week 43

Last week we had a long weekend where Henrik went to the UK to teach a course on black polishing.

STUDENT HIGHLIGHTS

Workshop B

Students:
    Dean, Faris, Ivan, Louis, Tetsu, Varun

    This week Dean and Tetsu have started their final exam! They finished their theory exam and will start their 5 movements on monday! Good luck to them!

    This week Ivan and Louis took their winding stem exam and passed!

    Ivan, Louis and Varun learned how to use the pantograph. Afterwards Louis made a new pusher spring for chronograph.

Workshop A

Students:
    Amer, Dunham, Daniel, David, Harold, Miguel 

    This week Amer made a new click spring for an omega pocket watch.

This week David cleaned and serviced his 8mm lathe.


    This week Harold practiced on the division and endshake adjustment of the escapement, and shellacking of the jewels of the pallet fork.

Next week Dean and Tetsu will be doing their final exam and will be working on 5 movements.
