Today we have something rather interesting to show everyone, Henrik is seen in this video, using traditional methods to fine tune a watch hand.

We have a new blogger ..

Usually, the school blog posts are contributed by students and Rob, but with the heavy toil of Henrik's special project, he was unable to blog. Anyway, he needs a break away from it all and he'll be a frequent contributor to the blog from now on ! Lets hear from the Master himself ..

This is my latest tool purchase. I am very proud of it and its a real help in measuring and centering jobs in the lathe, Imagine with this little crosslide microscope you can actually use the lathe as a jig-borer!

Our new wall sign with LED lights that turn on automatically! I am very impressed with the nice work Jura Design and Ulysse Nardin did for us. It was a donation from Ulysse Nardin who always supports the school and who always believes in my adventures in teaching and watchmaking. Thanks again UN!

We are back ...

It has been a grueling few months but we're back ....

Unfortunately, we didn't get to complete our special project but at least we tried. Watchmaking is not the easiest job or industry to be in if you're an Independent but we'll slog on ...
