YES! What happened is that during a repair on of the students' movement, the glue that keeps the hairspring inside the stud cracked and started to brake down, resulting in a very unstable rate and also makes truing of the hairspring impossible.
To correct it we had to add a bit of UV glue and let the glue be exposed to an UV light for 2 hours for the glue to properly harden.
i guess drying/fixing a laquer to protect receses/writing - and plating?
