Bench Test!

 

Week 17

This week we had a new bench tester! Christian from Australia!

Here Michael is teaching him about the parts of an Incabloc and how it works.

Here Michael is explaining the constant force escapement to him and how it inspired the logo of the school.

STUDENT HIGHLIGHTS

Workshop A+B

Students:
    Art, Daniel, David, Harold, Miguel, Nine
    Craig, Dunham, Ivan, Louis, Mun, Varun 

    This week Art and Nine started learning how to make a winding stem. They're learning how to turn down the bar to prepare it for threading with a roller die.

    This week Art finished his hand filing square exercises and made a wooden holder for them.



    This week Daniel completed and cased up his Rolex 6694, changing the main spring and correcting an off-center breguet curve on the balance.


Daniel also made escape wheels for his school-watch.


    This week David finished making a new hairspring and timing it to Delta 3.




    This week Craig finished turning the spike for the balance bridge holder, the brass wheel truing guide, and the steel angular rule.
